Pakpong Chirarattananon

Principal Investigator

Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering, University of Toronto.

PhD in Engineering Sciences from Harvard University; BA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. Previously Associate Professor at City University of Hong Kong.

Research focuses on bioinspired robotics, micro aerial vehicles, and hybrid locomotion. Recipient of the 2021 IEEE Transactions on Robotics King-Sun Fu Memorial Best Paper Award; serves on the editorial boards of the International Journal of Robotics Research and IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters.
